Tenant
A tenant is a platform that has integrated with Ping. It is the top-level entity in the model, and everything else, from merchants to payments, lives underneath a tenant.
When you integrate with Ping, you are a tenant. The tenant is the account that enables payment services for the merchants you work with and, through them, their end customers. Each tenant has its own tenant_id, and that identifier scopes everything you do: the merchants you create, the payment orders you open, and the funds that flow through them all belong to your tenant.
Tenants are isolated from one another
Each tenant operates as its own environment, with its own data and configuration. The separation between tenants is watertight: two tenants can even include the same person or organization in their respective sets of merchants, and there is still a strict operational boundary between them. One tenant cannot see or reach another's merchants, orders, or funds.
